Fellowship of the Minds

Democrats control both the city and state of New York.

And yet, there is criminal negligence of the people who are getting increasingly desperate days after Frankenstorm Sandy struck.

The residents of Staten Island are pleading for help from elected officials, begging for gasoline, food and clothing three days after Sandy slammed one of the hardest-hit communities in New York City. More than 80,000 residents are still without power. Many are homeless, and at least 19 people died on Staten Island because of the storm.

“We’re going to die! We’re going to freeze! We got 90-year-old people!” Donna Solli told visiting officials. “You don’t understand. You gotta get your trucks down here on the corner now. It’s been three days!”

Well-dressed middle class New Yorkers are eating out of garbage dumpsters because Democrats have not restored basic services in a city they completely control and a state they control.

  1. Conservaties who love America? What sort of filth are you putting into your mind FP?

Poor babies. What’s wrong? The masters suddenly abandon their pet slaves? Awwwwww. And the rest of the country, the fools, send money, power crews, food that will take months to get to the proles. “But we were such good toadies, we even voted democrat!”

Fuck ’em. Let them wallow in their own piss and shit, like a baby whose diaper isn’t changed. I know, I know, most will still be asleep. A few may awaken, and hopefully a few of those are white.

  2. Apparently, ONLY fancy-schmancy “marathons” get whining N’yawkers bitching even harder about their incessant gripe fests: For NFL games at Meadowlands Stadium in “stowm wavaged New Joisy” it’s a-ok to step over floating corpses to see the Giants. Let’s hear it for negroball.

  3. When will people get their priorities straight? Who gives a hoot about marathons or football or SNL. Even things that are actually important (education, for instance) are NOT priorities during an emergency. Hopefully it will open eyes and get us more votes.

OT: Has anyone heard these radio ads about Obama? “You tried. He tried. It just didn’t work.” (or something very similar to that) LOL America is trying to break up with Obama. We. Are never ever ever. Getting back together.

  4. Perhaps the New York elite are simply trying to forget the Late Unpleasantness.

I mean, to wallow in the misery of such disasters is so unseemly.

Staten Island is heralded as the most conservative of the boroughs.

Did not any of the SI residents think to stock up on petrol, food, rifles, vegetable gardens, and clothing?

    It needs asking.

  5. In complete honesty this is the sort of fate I wish New York City (and the US as a whole) would be subject to:

    I’ll see you in Valhalla.
