Today, lessons are not learned in school or college.  They’re not learned in those antiquated things once known as books.  Proven ideas and stuff that happened (history) are worthless compared to Shiny New Stuff. Books with ideas but without pretty colors and movement are too slow for those accustomed to shiny things moving around in the crib.  A generation babysat by TV, despite all those warnings.

Blame it on Yoda.  His Sagacity launched millions of deeply introspective introspections starting in the early 1980’s, so that immediately qualifies His Words to kids as ancient philosophy on par with Plato.

Fast forward to Mr. Tyler Durden, that revered tough-guy scion for Brandons raised by single moms – too scared to ask out Brittnee, pass Calculus or bash the scumbags who moved in next door.  He was a pretty cartoon: His philosophy of You’re Not A Special Snowflake reverberates squarely with those who…

… in fact, do view themselves as actual Uber Snowflakes.  Mom said so. Ms. Schoolteachy, too.  All life long.  So it IS true.

gbfm is celebrated by kids, even if the kids actually don’t know who Bernanke is, or what he does – or care.  Jar-Jar Binks for the Blog Set. George Lucas wanted to be richer as lucky, but it just didn’t work out IRL. When I began blogging, I looked at some stats.  They showed fewer people blog now than in 2006.  That’s because dimwits and kids feel more comfortable on Twitter, punching out simple, short posts that pass as wisdom in The Katy Perry Age. Why go to college when you can just say you did, online.  Why learn, when you are entertained.  Today’s Brandons need a funny cartoon speaking Baby Talk in order to take the ugly medicine on the spoon:  “Mommy wants bay-bee eat all his widdle tummy-ache medicine!”

Intelligent analysis is reduced to editorial cartoons.  Actually, no longer to even that depth because nobody reads papers or knows what educated editorial cartoonists even mean. Now it’s just editorial cartoons – for children.  Even simplicity gets the diminution workover and execution. The Liberal Elites, today, gleefully accept this stupefaction as a means to easier rule the mob.  But beware: Stupid people are destroyers who never think of consequences.  They are ultimately difficult to control and destroy for the sake of destruction, usually to get More Pretty Stuff. It is the perfect introduction of H.G. Wells‘ world in The Time Machine.  The barbarians did it to Rome and the west lay in ruin for a thousand years.  Think about that, and how long that is.  No? OK, you can go play now if it makes you happy.

gbfm had a revelation:  Use an ADD persona to avoid online entanglements.  That surely must get The Message Across.  Problem is, even that does not.  If adult-to-adult communication fails, dumb it down to “adult-to-kid.”  If that then fails – make it kid to kid.  Then, a real retard speaks to the kid.  Even a dumbed-down message no longer works.  Atavism has regressed down to a level that the next practical step is to get a Teddy Bear with a rattle so baby keeps focused.  Babbling Baby Talk becomes religion – the fertile ground of demagogues.

Imagine America in 50 years.  The America of your old age – your children’s country.  The trend is clearly toward atavism and it will get worse until it can get no worse.  The economist Herbert Stein said “If something cannot go on forever, it will stop.”  Today, Americans in their dissipating wealth ignore the liquor bill and keep partying to Bread & Circuses.  White males are now too afraid to utter Philosophical Truths – especially ugly ones.  They need The Simpsons, Family Guy, Lisa Lampanelli – and our Magnum Opus, South Park.  But, they’ve been doing it for so long, two generations have grown up around it and achieved nothing but…demanding moar ‘toons.  If even cartoons now fail to instruct, the only thing that shakes awake the sleeping is when they awaken on their own and discover the roof is gone.  In order to get the attention of The Peanut Gallery, H.G. Wells must learn to say “goo-goo!”

Those pretty pictures of South Park books – those are real books.  In two volumes.

Reductionism and atavism now hold sway to that dumbed-down school system we were warned about during Clinton’s Reign.  America wondered what the result would be.  Surely it couldn’t be as bad as Pat Buchanan and Thomas Sowell warned – those old fuddieduddies.  America’s Kindergarten Class of 1992 are here, ready to take the world (based on anime) as soon as they’re finished playing CoD.

gbfm will fail, for you’ll never be The Pied Piper of Hamlin, leading The Children’s Crusade.  Children are inchoate weaklings.  Their “movements” end in disaster:  The kids who run The Net and wiki?  They don’t even have a link for things like “The Children’s Crusade”

Which is why America will continue to trend downward while the mra brandon’s will shout in unison “NO – We’re Great!”

For, we all know – saying stuff (and shouting about it!) MAKES YOU RIGHT IN THE END!!!

    I think it’s a good thing actually. Why just imagine it – all those police, swat and military types dumbing themselves down, dropping their standards, more gays, single moms, negros. The smartest and strongest whites will take the red pill. It’s our elites versus theirs.

    It’s fantastic. Mediocrity is expected. There’s not much competition out there to become the best. Even the PUAs who can be very clever stop their ambition at sex. Often, all that’s required is to show up for long enough. The world splits – some are masters, the rest are spectators.

    A number of years ago I was talking to 2 guys who were SWPLs and self-professed Japanophiles. Hearing that, I wanted to get their opinion on some stuff and asked a question referencing the Warring Clans period. Their faces immediately lit up and there was intense discussion about some battles, none of which I could follow. So I had to stop them and ask which clan were they referring to, and what part of the country – turns out they were referring to some Anime/Manga Comic and a series of stories they had read/viewed there. When I proceeded to tell them I was actually referring to a historical period in Japanese history, this one guy says: “But it sounds like the Anime/Manga story, so what’s the difference?”

    You’re missing the point. GBFM is targetting those who grow up on “this shit”, including South Park, which he publicly denounced. That’s how minds work these days, and GBFM is a great starting point. From Snoop Dogg to Mises a path paved with thousands of words, tens of blogs. The way is carved. He’s a performer, it’s a routine, it’s funny, just as stand-ups are funny to those, who lauch frantically, simply because they’ve never heard truth before.

        I would rather GBFM speak plainly because he isn’t worthless. Subtract the Ron Paul out of him (which in itself is not completely false either) and he has tolerable insight into game.         Yeah, I hear the Pharisee put-down all the time. Protestantism would never have developed without the deep misinterpretation of those passages in the gospel.

        Christ’s criticism of the Pharisees wasn’t a criticism of the laws or those who would defend the law. “Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfill them.” He singled out the legalist priests who forgot what the larger purpose of the law was for. We do not follow the law because the law must be followed; we follow the law to come closer to God.

        And so Christ transfigured the law into grace. “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” But GBFM is a proponent of Christianity without the Christ — a Jefferson Bible approach — that disallows this divine ability to transform the law without violating it. It is not possible through mere teaching or an appendix to the Old Testament. It must be new revelation from God himself in the person of Christ Jesus, a divinity GBFM’s heresies deny for purposes of isolating the Nazarene’s secular teaching.

        So the expression of “grace and truth” becomes mere “pedantry” to those whose philosophy is inconsistent with the grace’s supersession of the old laws. There are no more binding Levitican strictures, save the two Christian commandments found in Matthew 22:36-40, which were given in broad language. There is only the imitation of Christ. And imitating Christ becomes possible only through the guidance of the church, lest the mortal falls back on the temptation to regard all divergent opinions as Pharisaical.

        Church guidance does not have the same force of Mosaic law, in that their violation is ipso facto condemnation, as the Pharisees would have it.     I wrote a piece as well! I took a more holistic approach, and hereby i present an optimistic, naive narrative.

    Western civilisation isn’t being eradica-ted. It is simply collapsing, because it has been build on lies (bible, us constitution, being just some of the masks of cunning puppetmasters (they need masks to cover their demonic faces)). The ship sinking is the logical conclusion of paper SS Egalitaria leaving the safe harbor of lofty ideas and sailing the waters of reality. It’s kinda like the finale of Truman Show – the world is really a cardboard box, build for amusement of the few. The stars are glued to the sky, but the storm is real, the boat can sink, and u can die living a lie. Personally I find this aberration, this corpse stitched from warring isms fascinating, amusing in a “look, it’s moving l0l, it’s walking!, it SPOKE!” kind of way. What interests me is not the chronicling of the fall anymore (there’s a limit to the number of GBFM copy-pastes one can read), but the possibilities it will bring. Just imagine what kind of prosperity free trade can bring (it basically funded the whole circus). White Man can literally rule the entire universe, given enough freedom, cause it’s his dream, and I sincerely believe that one day we will!     The only element this criticism of GBFM lacked was an example of the mania, and now we have it preserved in the commentary thread. Dear readers, draw your own conclusions.

    Make no mistake, I don’t join in Firepower’s criticism completely, if only because I know tactics like GBFM’s to be self-defeating. GBFM combines several of the fatal deficiencies of online commentary, to a maximal degree: low-to-no barrier-to-entry, unlimited room for expression, the appearance of the integrity of conspiracy, and the uncouthness of anonymity. Take away those hyperindulged qualities of GBFM’s commentary and he would be worth engaging.

        It is true. We can’t afford to fight amongst ourselves. In a situation of real opposition, we wouldn’t. Each commenter’s varying style speaks to a different audience and, in that respect, is extremely useful for gathering further support. Even commenters whose authenticity as an actual human being is questionable can be useful for “training” purposes. Let’s have backs together and spears pointing outwards now.

    The problem is, we have smart people arguing – fiddling while Rome burns – over Dalcrockian Crap of “how many thunderbolts can Zeus throw” or “how many whirlpools can Neptune summon” or what is the True Nature of Yahweh/Jesus.

    Socrates & Athens. Athens argued itself elegantly to sleep and fell repeatedly to differing bands of swine. Spartans whose highest thought was how to kill a Helot. Macedonian rustics who only wanted conscripts for eastern expansion. And, finally uncouth Romans who liked the decorating and wanted to copy it. America is Athens, arguing in the agora/forum while besieged by colored barbarians. It was a-ok until the 90’s when we had the money to hide. No more.

    When smart people craft a message based on either intelligent words or Speaking in Tongues, both do NOT matter when your audience are slothful idiots. You cast your pearls before swine – Jersey Shore, YouPorn, Government Public School Indoctrinated cartoon swine.

      Those arguments aren’t “angels on the head of a pin” thought experiments. You apparently are atheist? Nihilism will serve you up to a point, and I am past that point. An excursion into what seem like religious trivia actually brings practiced life into the realm of principle.

      Knowing how and why Christ vanquished the Pharisees (despite being murdered by them) takes GBFM’s casual insult into a place where first things might be discussed. At that level you recognize the deep sources of your differences and determine whether or not they are reconcilable.

      For instance, I know that my purposes and the PUA’s are unified at the most practical level, just as my evangelism is connected to the Protestants’ mission to first bring souls to Christ. If you are an atheist, there is a great deal of road we can travel together, but it would be silly to pretend we are 100% simpatico.

      I assume that GBFM and I share much in common politically and culturally, but his attempt to use Christianity without Christ is what contributes to a present confusion that will one day morph into outright enmity, if neither of us change. That enmity is beginning to show, and when it does, I am in the habit of addressing it directly and at its root. At least to see whether he can back it up or if it is prejudice steeped in ignorance.

      These matters seem irrelevant to you because you are not practiced in contemplating and debating first things. On the other hand, that very practice is one of the chief reasons I returned to the church, where we are given space for a deep introspection that simply does not occur in the quotidian life. Even a blogger’s quotidian life. We are not a loosely confederated gathering, we are a communio. Church is a force multiplier.

      All commenters can save their spaghetti and invisible magic stuff. Keep your comments to yourself and be presumed a fool, rather than opening up a combox and removing all doubt.
